Who am I, what drives me and what do I do? I created this website to give you a glance at my work, and myself the time to reflect upon my activities.
At DRIFT I am involved in research and advisory projects for governmental organisations and companies on questions related to sustainability transitions and their governance on topics including: Urban Resilience, Circular Economy & Cradle to Cradle. I worked as a PhD candidate (October 2011-2015) at the Dutch Research Institute for Transitions (DRIFT), Erasmus University Rotterdam in cooperating with the Academic Chair ‘Cradle to Cradle for Innovation and Quality’ at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. My PhD research focusses on how urban area development in the Netherlands can become beneficial, by generating economic, ecologic and social cultural values on different spatial scales.
My passion lies in the facilitation of co-creation processes together with clients and/or local actors that are motivated to think about- and act upon a better world that is sustainable, resilient, circular, equitable, humane and prosperous.
I am educated as an Architect at Eindhoven University of Technology where I graduated with honours in 2010, after my Bachelor Built Environment at Avans University of Applied Sciences in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. You can follow these activities at Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
I like to be outdoors (preferably in the Mountains) enjoy nature and exercise. I ride my bicycle and mountain bike to train endurance and embrace physical and psychological challenges. I practice yoga to relax and stretch my muscles and my mind. I like to run challenging tracks to be outdoors and take my mind from the daily grind. These sports activities I combine with listening to music and take pictures of the things I enjoy in life. You can follow these activities at Stava, Spotify and Instagram.
